“The Girls”
“The Girls” is a painting that celebrates the essence of childhood and the protection they receive as they grow up. Depicted as figures made of a precious alloy, the girls glow with a covering that, despite their metallic appearance, has the ability to grow. Presently, they enjoy a field full of sunflowers, symbols of the sun and warmth offered to them. The eyes, which watch silently, act as guardians, protecting them and observing their development. The play invites reflection on the value of childhood, the care they need and the freedom to become who they are meant to be.
